A growing tech company is looking for a hands-on System Administrator to help scale and secure the systems behind a global digital platform. This fully remote role is ideal for someone experienced in cloud infrastructure, automation, and identity management — especially those who thrive in agile, mid-sized or startup environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Deploy and manage AWS workloads using Terraform.
• Ensure the cloud setup is secure, scalable, and built on best practices.
• Maintain infrastructure automation and refine IAM policies.

Identity & Access Management (IAM)

• Manage identity systems (mainly Okta), including Okta Workflows for automation.
• Handle SSO, MFA, and user provisioning/deprovisioning.
• Integrate Okta with Active Directory and other platforms.
• Maintain access security and compliance.

System Administration & Security

• Administer Active Directory and Group Policy settings.
• Enforce security hardening (CIS benchmarks) for macOS and Windows environments.
• Run patch management across Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Use RMM tools for monitoring, automation, and device security.

Networking

• Manage network infrastructure with tools like Cisco Meraki and Check Point.
• Support Zero Trust security practices and help ensure regulatory compliance.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in system administration, cloud infrastructure, and automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.) and Terraform.
• Deep familiarity with Okta and Okta Workflows.
• Experience managing Active Directory and connecting it to cloud IDPs.
• Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, and macOS environments.
• Patch management experience across all major OS types.
• Knowledge of CIS benchmarks and experience with RMM tools.

Bonus if you have:

• Certifications like AWS SysOps Admin, Terraform Associate, or Okta Admin — or equivalent real-world experience.
