We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join Data Platform team - someone who thrives on solving complex problems at scale. Warsaw/hybrid/B2B
Location: Warsaw, Poland (Hybrid – 2 days in the office: Mondays & Wednesdays)

The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join Data Platform team - someone who thrives on solving complex problems at scale, enjoys working across technologies, and is passionate about real-time data pipelines, distributed systems, and performance optimization.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain real-time streaming and batch data pipelines processing billions of records per day.
Own services and infrastructure for request enrichment, data exports, campaign analytics, fraud detection, and more, handling hundreds of thousands of requests per second with strict low-latency SLAs.
Build end-to-end solutions from design through deployment and monitoring.
Develop monitoring and alerting for critical Big Data pipelines.
Work with technologies including Flink, Spark, Kafka, Protobuf, Kubernetes, Argo WF, Jenkins, GitHub, writing in Golang, Java/Scala, and Python.
Use modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to enhance coding, testing, and debugging.
Participate in a shared on-call rotation to support production systems and ensure high availability.
Collaborate in an Agile environment, contributing ideas and taking initiative on projects.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in backend or data engineering.
Strong proficiency in Golang and Java/Scala; experience with Python & SQL.
Hands-on experience with streaming platforms (Flink, Spark, Kafka).
Production experience with Kubernetes and containerized services.
Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / OCI).
Familiarity with CI/CD, observability tools (Prometheus/Grafana), and distributed systems.
Versatile and able to switch contexts effectively across projects and technologies.
Self-learner, responsible, independent, and a strong team player.
Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
Building and maintaining high-volume, low-latency pipelines.
Agile methodology experience.
Initiative and creative problem-solving in complex, multi-task environments.
