We are supporting our client, a leading global digital health organization, in their search for an exceptional General Manager Europe.

As the General Manager Europe, you will join a diverse international team of clinicians, product experts, engineers, creatives, marketers, and business leaders—all united by the ambition to expand access to mental health support across the globe.
This is a role for someone ready to make an immediate impact, drive strategic initiatives, scale operations across multiple markets, and shape the future of mental health services across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
As GM Europe, you will be responsible for driving continued growth, regional strategy, and market performance across the European region for our client. Your main responsibilities include:
Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Own and manage the P&L for the European business, ensuring strong top-line growth.
- Develop and execute short-term tactics and long-term strategies to scale user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Lead brand positioning and ensure cultural relevance across diverse European markets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with global teams (marketing, product, clinician acquisition,
- compliance, clinical operations, and others) to optimize user experience and drive outcomes.
- Partner with HQ on product localization strategies to support market expansion.
Team & Market Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of Country Managers across Europe.
- Build regional BD & Partnership capabilities to drive growth beyond paid channels.
- Create and implement playbooks for new market launches.
- Recruit, onboard, and support local leadership as part of ongoing European expansion.
Compliance & Operational Excellence
- Ensure regional adherence to regulatory requirements, data privacy standards, and cultural sensitivities.
- Oversee operational KPIs and performance metrics to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Experience & Background
- 15+ years of experience in:
- General management
- Strategy & operations
- P&L ownership
- International marketing
- Growth or leadership roles within consumer-facing businesses
- Proven experience scaling products, brands, or services across multiple European markets.
- Strong background in data-driven decision-making and digital growth strategies.
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Experience building and managing high-performing, multi-country teams.
- Deep understanding of consumer behaviour and marketing funnels.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
